Soy bean plants or Tua Rea in Thai, are very much like Lima beans in flavour. The beans are buttery, sweet and delicious. For a quick snack, steam the pods in boiling water for five minutes, allow to cool and the beans will pop right out of their pods with the slightest pressure. In Thai cuisine they are used in stir-fry's.
