The Thai Emerald - 30 Castle Street, Cirencester - 01285 654444Our visit to Thai Emerald started bad and progressed into something more descriptive of a bad trip.
Paranoia crept in as a myriad of small thai women grappled at my boyfriends coat and gauped at me with blank expressions.
Arriving in an almost uncannily empty restaurant our seating arrangements were at length discussed amongst these marauding ladies, before ushered into a cramped two seater between the toilets and the waiting staff's gossip area.
"Convenient", we agreed; after supping hurriedly our drinks and turning down the option of staying long enough to actually eat their overpriced food, and headed for the door.

The Thai Emerald - 30 Castle Street, Cirencester - 01285 654444I couldn't disagree more with the very unpleasant review given by Scarlett Dahl in April 2005.
My family have always found the standard of food and service at the Emerald excellent and good value for money.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the decor pleasant.
The only problem is that, because the establishment has become popular and busy, one may not be able to have the best table.
We will definitely continue to be regular customers!
