My husband and I went to Max’s Thai in Wallington for our first anniversary.
We have been going long before we got married and even though we now live an hour away we have never been disappointed.
We have still not tried everything on the menu, but loved every dish so far.
On this occasion we ordered squid curry and beef masaman, coconut rice, fried rice and mixed seafood salad. As a must try is their coconut rice, its sweet, very different.
The service is excellent!!

I would like to comment on the Delicious food I recently ate, at the Waterman's Arms Pub, which serves Thai Food, I really enjoyed my Green Curry, and will certainly revisit.

Thai Pagoda

My husband and I have just returned home from a lovely meal at the Thai Pagoda and I wanted to share our views
We received a warm genteel welcome late on a Sunday evening and were immediately impressed with the decor, cleanliness and the attention to detail at the restaurant.
The menu was varied without being overwhelming and at very reasonable prices.
Being vegetarian myself I was pleased to see a range of options. I opted for the vegetable spring rolls and my husband had the dim sum. Sweet chilli sauce was thick and delicious and the presentation very attractive.
We followed with Beef Panang and Red Tofu/Vegetable curry with sticky and fragrant jasmine rice.
The beef, I'm told, was tender and very tasty, while my curry was creamy and spicy with a pleasant range of fresh vegetables.
Portions were generous, so much that neither of us had room to try one of the appealing-sounding desserts!
The bill came and we also received 25% discount for coming on a Sunday.
All in all we were both very impressed and look forward to our next visit as soon as we can!

Have to say this is hard to beat for friendly staff/good decor/quality
dishes (a few originals packed in there!) and value for money.
Will definitely be making a few return visits - open kitchen is a nice touch as
it gets the mouth watering as you see your order being put together all the
way up to arriving in front of you.
Well worth a look
